Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn that sends us reeling, wondering how to take the next step. That’s what happened last week when we found out our house sale was not going to happen. After all the planning we had set in motion, we found ourselves back at square one, not sure what to do next. For several days I felt like I was just wandering aimlessly around the house, in a total fog. When I created this Psalm 16 printable I did not expect to be posting it on the same day that our family received some bad news about the pending sale of our house in Illinois. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about the lies and negative thoughts we let into our minds. Our modern world is full of lies. Lies about our identity, lies about our roles as women, lies about God. Sometimes we get lost in the busy and mundane activities of daily life and forget who we really are. The enemy tries to make us think we are unloved and unloveable. When we live in this lie, then we also become unloving and tend to…
